Leon Steyn

Leon started Dante Deo in 2015 and has been instrumental in developing and implementing targeted supply chain plans and strategies across various client projects, saving clients over $300 million to date.

With over 25 years of experience in IT, he started his career as a programmer in the 1990s. Leon has worked with large multi-national organisations in industries from mining and supply chain management to the public sector.

More recently, he has shifted his focus to transforming IT sourcing and procurement strategies and promoting digital transformation across private and public entities. In 2017, he was selected to lead the IT Category in the Supply Transformational Project for the South African government - a project that delivered 21.8% cost savings to the country. He has a unique ability to translate IT strategy and operational requirements into commercially beneficial agreements.
